Who will be able to benefit from the project with affordable air tickets?
According to information from the Ministry of Ports and Airports, the following groups will be entitled to air tickets worth R$200:
- Social security retirees;
- Public servants of local, state or federal governments with salaries of up to R$6,800.00;
- Participants of the Student Financing Fund (Fies).
The program will also be accessible to individuals who do not fall into these categories, as long as they have a monthly income of up to R$$6,800.00. However, these passengers will have to pay the full amount of the ticket in cash, as installment payments will be prioritized for the general public, as we will detail below.

Participants in the program will be able to purchase up to two tickets per year, with the possibility of bringing a companion, according to official information.
How will I buy my airline tickets?
Currently, the Voa Brasil program does not have a website or online platform, and there is still no information about the creation of a specific website or application for the program.
However, the federal government revealed that airlines Latam, Azul and GOL Airlines are supporting the initiative and should make tickets available when the program starts operating.
The program generated enthusiasm among airlines due to the 14.6% drop in airline ticket sales between January and March 2023, compared to the months of October, November and December 2022, according to data from the IBGE's Broad Consumer Price Index (IPCA).
